Farquhar Chrysler Charity Golf Tournament

2019 is our 7^th annual tournament. Our sixth year was very successful in raising over $34,000, purchasing an isolette (incubator) and lounge chairs for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) where tiny patients receive care until they are strong enough to go home with their families. Last year, all participants thoroughly enjoyed their experience.

This year, please join us in raising funds to purchase a Giraffe for the NICU at NBRHC.

A Giraffe is a full featured incubator and a radiant warmer, helping reduce the stress on our neonates and increase access for the care providers. Large, drop down, removable doors and centralized control screen placement provide quick and easy patient access from either side of the incubator, when multiple care providers are required to care for baby. Increased flexibility allows them to quickly respond to the changing needs of the little patients.

With a high prevalence of multiple and premature births in our region, a third Giraffe unit is needed to meet the needs of these delicate infants. This comes at a cost of $85,000.

This year, we have the unique opportunity to double our impact and fully fund this essential piece of medical equipment. Every dollar raised this year through the Golf Tournament will be generously matched, to a maximum of $40,000.

Children are one of our most valuable resources and it is our responsibility to ensure they receive the attention and care needed to thrive. They depend on us to teach them, keep them safe, healthy and to love and provide for them. It takes a village to raise a child, so let’s continue to build our village!
