The Powassan Voodoos have added an offensive defenceman to the team.

Timiskaming Titans’ Dayton Murray will be joining the Voodoos for the 2016/2017 season.

Spruce Grove, Alberta native scored 27 goals and 27 assists for 54 points in 31 games last season.

Murray says he wants to “advance in my hockey and strive for higher levels of play”.

The Voodoos have also signed local 2016 Battalion draft pick Tye Lindeman last week and forward Ryan Theriault on Friday.
