School transportation officials say school buses in the Mattawa corridor are cancelled for today.

They say it’s because of the lingering effects of freezing rain, including icy roads and visibility due to fog.

With the temperature rising above zero, the freezing rain warning came to an end earlier this morning in the North Bay area.

There was some overnight ice accumulation in some areas.
