A report coming to council tonight now shows the city’s projecting a surplus of nearly $975,000 at the end of the year.

The report, as of the end of September, says provincial funding has been applied to gross COVID-19 revenue losses and increased costs while cost savings from the City’s mitigation efforts are helping to generate an overall year-end net surplus.

Also on the agenda, discussions on labour relations will take place ‘in camera’.

The earlier committee meeting of council will look at the 2018 and 2019 annual reports of Invest North Bay.
