An 18 year old East Ferris Township resident is facing an $880 fine for failing to comply with the re-opening Ontario act.

Police say they were called to a residence Saturday night where a large house party was being held with 40-50 young people in attendance.

Currently, indoor social gatherings are restricted to 10 people or less.

Police say when the act is violated the host of the event is charged.
