All four local boards staggering the return to school

All four local school boards are staggering the return to school.

This after the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic Board sent a letter to parents on Friday detailing their staggered return.

Most students will return between Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th with JK students returning between the 10th and 15th.

All students enrolled in distance learning will begin no later than Wednesday, September 16.

Elementary Schools:
Tuesday, September 8, 2020
– Grade 1 – 3 students
– Learning Assistance Centre (LAC) students enrolled in Grades 1-3

Wednesday, September 9, 2020
– Senior Kindergarten students
– Senior Kindergarten students in LAC
– Grades 4 – 8 students
– LAC and Learning Skills Classroom (LSC) students enrolled in Grades 4-8

Thursday, September 10, 2020 – September 15, 2020
– Junior Kindergarten students
– LAC students enrolled in Junior Kindergarten

St. Joseph-Scollard Hall:
Tuesday, September 8, 2020
– Grade 9 students and all LAC students

Wednesday, September 9, 2020
– Grade 12 students

Thursday, September 10, 2020
– Grade 10 and Grade 11 students

Staggered entry plans were earlier announced by the Near North Board, The French Catholic and French public boards earlier announced their plans online.
