A 33 year old North Bay man has been charged with several offenses including uttering a threat, two counts of assault with a weapon and administering a noxious thing.

Police say early last Thursday morning two people in a parking lot on Main Street East who know the man got into a verbal exchange with him and both people were sprayed with bear spray in the face.

Police say they received minor injuries.
