There’s still time to take part in the Nipissing Motorcycle Ride For Dad ‘Ride Together Alone’ initiative.
The self-directed ride program has been extended to September 6th.
Ride Alone Together involves people riding solo or in small groups, raising pledges in the fight against prostate cancer and sharing their experiences on social media.
Funds raised locally benefit the area.
Officials say prostate cancer is not stopping for the global pandemic, and neither can the local Ride For Dad’s annual fundraising campaign.
Every day nearly 65 Canadian men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and another 12 men die from the disease.
