North Bay Police have charged four people with drug related offenses.

The charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking, carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing a peace officer and possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime.

Facing the charges are a 41 year old North Bay man, a 29 year old Sturgeon Falls male, a 31 year old River Valley man and a 28 year old Garden Village male.

Police say they stopped a vehicle in the Main Street East and McIntyre Street area and seized a concealed knife, a functioning taser, suspected Purple Fentanyl, Marijuana, a Methamphetamine Tablet, a digital scale, a pickup truck and $655 in Canadian currency.

The drugs have a street value of $11,000.
