The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says it is consultation with health units across the north on mandating face coverings province wide.

In a release, the health unit says there are concerns in the community and they recommend the use of face coverings when physical distancing is a challenge.

It says everyone’s hard work is reflected in the case numbers but it’s important people aren’t complacent.

Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jim Chirico encourages people to physical distance with individuals outside their household or social circle and to wash or sanitize hands often.

Meantime, one of the self isolating cases has been resolved, That means there are two cases of patients self isolating of the 37 cases. There’s been one death and 34 cases overall have been resolved.
