City Council has given the green light to a couple of requests involving new housing developments.

One involves changes to a draft condominium plan on Thompson Avenue off Lakeshore.

It’ll now be one building instead of two, with 70 units, up from 64.

The building design and layout change was done because of geotechnical investigations of the property.

A subdivision plan with that proposal was also extended.

Meantime, council also approved a request involving a five-lot residential development with frontage on Tower Drive.
