We’ll need the fans and air conditioners for a few more days yet… as the heat warning continues in the North Bay area.

Environment Canada says the heat event will continue into the weekend.

We can expect highs in the low thirties with humidex values in the mid to upper thirties are expected over the next several days.

Overnight lows will range from 18 to 20 degrees Celsius.

So far, no temperature records have fallen and today’s high of 32 would be nearly two degrees shy of the 1966 record.
