A decision by North Bay Police to form a break and enter initiative team has paid off.

Police say the team composed of four front line officers, two members of the street crime unit and members of the services’ newly formed Alternate Response Unit has laid 58 property crime charges against 14 people.

Police seized stolen property.

As well, A 36 year old man from North Bay has been charged with 43 criminal offenses that are related to thefts from various vehicles and fraudulent use of stolen financial cards.

Police say they netted a $3000 bicycle, chain saws and hand tools from a Main Street address during their investigation.
