A 23 year veteran nurse at the North Bay Regional Health Centre has been recognized with a special leadership award.

Lori-Ann Crittenden has been named the recipient of the Leslie Burt-Manary RN Leadership Award.

It’s named in honor of Leslie Burt-Manary who died of cancer after a long career in nursing.

Lori-Ann’s peers describe her a nurse who brings kindness, calmness and genuine care to everyone.

They say she is a role model to her colleagues and a source of leadership and guidance.

Paula Doncaster, Tamara Chapman, and Janice Herzog were also nominated for the honour.
