SIU investigating death of a man in North Bay

The province’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 60-year-old man in North Bay.

The SIU says police were made aware of a man in distress yesterday morning.

Shortly after 1030 officers arrived at a residence in the area of Trout Lake Road and Feronia Road. When they entered the home, the man was found dead.

A post mortem is scheduled for today (Mon) in Sudbury.

Two SIU investigators have been assigned to the case.

The SIU is urging anyone who may have information about this investigation to contact the lead investigator at 1-800-787-8529.

The Unit is also urging anyone who may have any video evidence related to this incident to upload that video through the SIU website.
