Plenty of local businesses have been adjusting to the COVID-19 pandemic, including Manchester’s.
Shane White says it was scary at first having built up a business for 22 years and then being told they have to close.
He says there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, but for now curbside pickup and delivery and online shopping are the new norm.
White says they’ve been really busy with hot tub sales.
“It’s been unbelievable what we’ve been doing, we have sold out of all of our spring hot tubs, we normally don’t sell the stuff out until July. We were been able to get more and we found new companies because we can’t get anything else from the States,” he says.
Hot tub deliveries can be done right to your backyard.
White also says while they can’t go into homes and set up items like adjustable beds, modern technology is helping out.
“If you have family members we can delivery right away, curbside and then Facetime to show you how to hook it up, how to work it. Everybody has a phone now, you can basically show everything that needs to be done over your phone,” he says.
