School buses cancelled across Nipissing District because of the snowfall warning

A low pressure system from Texas is bringing snow, heavy at times, to the area and that’s led to a snowfall warning from Environment Canada.

It’ll be a quick-moving system, but the weather agency says 15 cm of snow is possible in some parts of the area.

Snow will continue throughout the day then taper off to flurries tonight.

Because of the snowfall warning, school buses are cancelled across the Nipissing District, from Mattawa to West Nipissing, including North Bay.

Schools remain open.
