North Bay Police report a 31 year old city man is facing robbery and theft charges.

Police say a person gathered over $400 worth of merchandise from a store at 1500 Fisher Street around 8 pm Friday and held up a knife when confronted by an employee, when leaving the store.

About 20 minutes later the same person collected over $300 worth of items at a Cassells Street store and again held up a knife when confronted.

He was located and arrested by police in the parking lot.

Police say the investigation also linked back to a late January incident when items were taken from a Cassells Street convenience store, and previously reported to police.
