Fire department called to fuel spill

North Bay Fire Chief Jason Whiteley says they were called an incident on Wednesday.

“We’re estimating atleast 150 litres of diesel. We responded around noon and contained the leak. An environmental remediation company was contacted by the truck’s insurance company and they finished the job,” he says.

Whiteley says the incident occurred near the Independant Grocer next to the Northgate Shopping Centre.

There were no injuries.
