The 23rd annual Mattawa Voyageur Days is all about tribute bands.
The line up for the July 24th to 26th “Ultimate Tributes Edition” has been announced:

Friday COUNTRY
– Mountain Music (Alabama tribute)
– Fresh Horse (Garth Brooks tribute)
– Chicken Fried (Zac Brown tribute)

Saturday ROCK WHERE THE RIVERS MEET
– Trilogy Classics (Journey, Foreigner & Styx tribute)
– Gunz N FN Rosez (Guns N Roses tribute)
– Early Elton (Elton John tribute)
-Fleetwood Nicks (Fleetwood Mac & Tom Petty tribute)
Zed Leppard (Led Zeppelin and Def Leppard tribute)

Sunday Night
– ROADHOUSE
– Chuck Labelle sings Paul McCartney
– Abbamania (Abba tribute)

A choreographed firework display wraps up the festival on Sunday night.

Lucie Desrochers, the Mattawa Voyageur Days Committee team leader on the decision to go tribute bands for the entire weekend.
” We used to do tributes on Sunday and they were well attended and so this year we’re doing it for the whole weekend,” she says.
Weekend passes are 40-dollars until May 18th at area Caisse Alliance and Scotiabank locations, the Mattawa Travel Information Centre and online at www.voyageurdays.com.

The price will change to $50 starting May 19th and will also be available at the gate for $60.
