A 26 year old from North Bay is facing several charges in connection with a motor vehicle collision in Sundridge last month.

Police say a vehicle close to 9 am was travelling north bound on Highway 124 when it struck a lamp post.

Police say there were four passengers in the vehicle and one of them was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The charges include endangering life, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking and mischief.

A 50 year old male OPP officer from Perry Township is facing an impaired driving charge.

Police say yesterday around 4 p.m. police were conducting a traffic stop and decided to give a motorist a road side test.

Police say the motorist failed the test and was taken to the Huntsville Detachment for more investigation.

Nipissing West OPP have charged a 31 year old Field man with several offenses as a result of a traffic stop.

Police say the charges include possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Police say initially they discovered the driver had a suspended license and was wanted as well on several other warrants.

Police also learned the plates on the vehicle weren’t authentic and the vehicle was reported stolen.

Police seized several items including break-in tools, documents, credit cards, key fobs, prescription drugs and currency.
