High school teachers will start a work-to-rule campaign next Tuesday to show their frustration at the lack of progress in contract talks with the province.
The head of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation says members won’t participate in standardized testing or take part in unpaid staff meetings outside school hours.
That campaign will coincide with similar job action by elementary teachers.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce today announced he was reducing the number of online courses students would have to take to graduate but OSSTF President Harvey Bischoff calls that “stumbling halfway towards the right solution.”
