Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for much of the northeast, including the North Bay area, with snow on the way.

The agency says with a low pressure system approaching Ontario from the southwest, significant snowfall is possible tomorrow night into Friday.

Ten to 20 cm of snow is possible.

Officials also say there is some uncertainty in the track of this low pressure system and the amount of snowfall.
