The latest EQAO provincial test results are in for the Near North Board.
Grade three reading and writing results were both up while math was down.
Grade six reading and math scores dropped slightly while writing was up slightly.
In grade nine math, 71 percent of academic students met the provincial average, which is down four percent.
Applied math remained the same at 38 percent.
Both are below the provincial results.
For first-time eligible students, grade ten literacy test results at the board dropped slightly to 66 percent.
That’s 14 percent lower than the provincial results.
