The Powassan Voodoos have reacquired another familiar face.

The Voodoos have added forward Tomas Yachmenev from the Navan Grads of the CCHL for a development fee.

Last season, Yachmanev scored 23 goals for the Voodoos and added 31 helpers for 54 points in 56 games.

Meantime, former Voodoos forward Rico Rossi has been signed by the Hamburg Crocodiles of the Germany 3 professional hockey league.

Last season with the Voodoos Rossi notched 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 points in 39 games.

North Bay & District Major Peewee AAA Trappers went 2-2 at a weekend tourney in Ottawa.

They won games by 2-0 over Markham and 5-3 over Grey-Bruce but lost 4-1 to Kitchener and 7-2 to Eastern Ontario.

Andre Mondoux had had four goals in the weekend and Jackson Curran picked up the shutout in the first game.
