The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has announced the results of the province’s second cannabis store lottery.
The commission which regulates the cannabis sector has selected 42 operators including one in North Bay who can apply to run cannabis shops.
The address of the North Bay operator is the Nipissing Plaza and Lorne J. Fine is listed as the legal name of the business.

There are 5 other locations listed on the waiting list.

Unlike the first lottery, applicants in the latest draw had to show that they had secured retail space that could be used as a store if they were selected, and that they had enough capital to open it.
The winners now have until August 28th to complete an application to open a store that will be vetted by the commission.
