A 74 year old man from Lindsay has been charged by North Bay Police after a historical sexual assault investigation.

Walter Llewellyn Sheppard, also known as Lew Sheppard, is charged with indecent assault on a female.

Police say he was a secondary school teacher in North Bay until 1989.

The victim was a former student, between 1978 and 1982.

Police are concerned there may be more victims and ask anyone with any information to contact them.
