Several events are on the go today for North Bay Pride 2019.

The walk/march goes at 11 am from city hall to the waterfront.

That’s where a Pride picnic takes place at one o’clock.

“We’ve been hosting very successful Labour Day BBQ picnics for over a decade, so it makes perfect sense that we throw a picnic party for North Bay Pride,” says Henri Giroux, North Bay and District Labour Council president.

“On Saturday after the Pride March, the Labour Council will host a family friendly BBQ picnic at the waterfront, with free hamburgers, hot dogs, and pop for everyone,” says Giroux.

Tonight there’s a youth party at St Andrews Church at 8 pm, while at 9 pm there’s a Foam Party at the Summit.

The YMCA is hosting inclusive events for Pride tomorrow, including a free swim at 1 pm and games in the gym at 2 pm.
