City police are holding a town hall meeting this morning on rideshare services and the taxi bylaw.

The session goes at 10 am at the Elks Lodge.

Earlier this month, the police services board heard from local taxi companies who voiced their concerns and opposition to rideshare being approved.

One company, URIDE, has already started the process of setting up in North Bay and put out another call for drivers at the beginning of May.

At the time, officials said they need more drivers before a launch date can be announced.
