A couple of overnight break-ins have city police investigating.

Windows were smashed in both incidents.

The first one was at a Foran Street business just before 4 am.

On social media, Gd2Go says they were broken into, with nothing taken, but it’s becoming an expensive regular occurrence.

Meantime, a small amount of cash was taken after a break-in to a business in the 300 block area of Main East.

The OPP Canine Unit attended the scene but the suspect was gone when police arrived.

The city police forensic identification unit is assisting in both investigations.
