North Bay Battalion captain Justin Brazeau has won an OHL wide award.

He’s been named the winner of the Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy awarded annually to the OHL’s Overage Player of the Year.

Brazeau led the league with 61 goals and finished second overall with 113 points and didn’t miss a game.

He established a new franchise record for goals in a season and became just the 2nd Battalion player to get at least 100 points in a season.

Since the season ended Brazeau who was chosen in the 13th round of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection has signed a pro contract with Toronto of the AHL.
