The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers tied the Toronto Young Nationals 1-1 in their first game at the OHF Championship in Clarington.

Jesse Kirkby scored for North Bay.

Reece Proulx made 30 saves for the Trappers who were outshot 31-30.

The Trappers next game is at 3:15 on Tuesday versus Elgin.

The North Bay & District Trappers AAA Hockey Association has rounded out its head coaches for the next hockey season.

Marc Long has been named Major Peewee coach, Sheldon Masson is the new Major Bantam coach, Justin Roy replaces Long at Minor Peewee and the new Minor Bantam coach is Guy Blanchard currently the head coach of the Major Midget AAA Trappers.

Previously, Scott Huycke was named Minor Midget coach and the new Major Midget coach is Billie McMillan.
