Prodigy frontman Keith Flint has died at the age of 49. The Guardian reports that the vocalist was found dead at his home in Essex, England, on Monday. “Sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed,” local police said in a statement. “The death is not being treated as suspicious.” However, Prodigy co-founder Liam Howlett wrote on Instagram that Flint committed suicide. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend,” he wrote. “I’m shell shocked, f**kin’ angry, confused, and heartbroken…r.i.p brother.  Liam.” Meanwhile, the band said in a statement, “It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint. A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed.” Flint sang on the group’s best known singles, “Firestarter” and “Breathe,” which both went to #1 in 1996.
