Two people from North Bay and two from West Nipissing are facing charges after a vehicle was stopped by city police on Worthington Street yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

City police say they received a report of a person in a vehicle that appeared to be in some type of medical distress.

All four people are charged with drug possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The driver is also charged with impaired.

Police say over $11,000 in drugs were seized, including suspected purple Fentanyl, Crystal Meth, methamphetamine pills, Hydromorphone, Suboxone and cocaine.

$5,000 in cash, brass knuckles and weigh scales were also seized.
