A successful 101.9 Rock McDonald’s Toy Drive.

1,710 toys were collected yesterday.

Anyone who brought in a new, unwrapped toy to McDonald’s in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls received a select extra value meal for $3.

The toys are being delivered to several community groups to help brighten the holidays for local children.

Local organizations receiving toys include LIPI, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Children’s Aid Society, the Crisis Centre, the Ojibway Women’s Lodge and the Pediatric Ward at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
