Snow depth is way above average for this time of year.

The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority says snow depth at their reading stations is 22.8 cm which is over 2 and a half times the norm for this time of year.

A year ago, the depth was 11.7 cm.

Water content in the snow is more than 3 and a half times the long term average at 41,7 mm.

A year ago, the figure was 29.3 mm.
