Several club records were broken by CT-33 Thunderbirds at the Barrie Aquafest earlier this month.

Ten year old Owen Baas broke five club records, including one from 2003, won four races and finished second in two more.

Meantime, Evan Kilroy broke two club records, earning top three placements.

Trael Daly Stevens had five first place finishes and broke one club record.

Jenna Wall was first in two events and also broke a club record.

Other T-Birds with first place finishes were Timothy Corbeil, Ashley Girard and Peyton Paralovos.

Four more swimmers had top three finishes including Robby Baas, Fia Diorio, Sheldon Kilroy and Brody Marietti.

Samuel Denomme, Grace Hong, Emilia Lainevool, Ayden Michaud, Cole Paralovos, Jaiden Paralovos, Madilyn Reaume, Isabella Trottier and Gavin Wall achieved top 8 placements at the event.

Personal best times were achieved by most swimmers with special mention to Abigail Betsill, Myles Denomme, Sydney Doidge, Annika Lainevool, Rachelle Ouellette, Ryleigh Paralovos and Katie Sefton.
