North Bay Police are looking for a male who is wanted for a robbery on Saturday morning on Algonquin Avenue.

Police say a man entered a business and showed a handgun and demanded money from a cash register.

Police say the victim grabbed the firearm and chased the suspect out of the store.

The ensuing struggle resulted in the victim suffering minor injuries.

Police say they recovered an imitation handgun and the suspect fled on foot towards the Highway 17 bypass.

He is described as wearing a dark camouflage jacket, a red bandana covering his face, wearing blue jeans and dark coloured shoes with a white band on them.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Near North Crime Stoppers.

North Bay Police say they investigated 14 incidents last Friday of wires being reported down.

Police say there were no injuries.

Police advise the public not to touch any downed wire and assume it is live.

If you see a downed power line cal 911.

Also, avoid driving over a power line.
