A 49 year old North Bay man died Sunday in an ATV collision on Songis Road in Phelps Township.

North Bay OPP say the collision occurred when an ATV left the roadway striking a tree in the eastbound ditch.

Police say Gary Redhead was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A witness tells BayToday he believes his friend died of natural causes while driving the ATV.

The investigation continues.
