Home invasion in Sturgeon Falls

West Nipissing Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred at a William Street residence in Sturgeon Falls yesterday.

Police say an elderly man was assaulted.

Police add a female suspect pushed her way into the residence and demanded money, when the man refused she assaulted him and took his wallet, and then fled the area.

The wallet contained personal papers and cash.

The suspect is described as having blond hair, thin build and being in her 40s.

The man suffered minor injuries.
