North Bay Police have charged 4 people with drug related offenses.

Police say those charged include a 40 year old man from North Bay, a 29 year old woman form Azilda, a 26 year old male from Callander and a 26 year old female from Commanda.

The charges include multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and the North Bay man was also charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

Police seized marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine pills, ecstasy pills, percocet pills and a fentanyl pill.

Police say the street value of the drugs seized is over $16,000.

Also seized were plastic bags, a digital scale, cutting agents and 4 cell phones.

North Bay Police responded to a vehicle fire on Saturday in Callander. The vehicle was stolen from a North Bay residence last week.

A 24 year old Saskatchewan man is facing several charges including possession of property obtained by crime, theft. flight while pursued by police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Police say a person driving a stolen vehicle left a North Bay gas station without paying.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit began.

The pursuit was called off due to public safety concerns and the vehicle was later observed.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver tried to flee on foot and was arrested after a short chase.
