It’s election day in Ontario and the polls are open from 9 am to 9 pm.

We’ll have updated reports on air and online after the polls close tonight.

As for the advanced polls, Elections Ontario says preliminary figures show 6,386 people in Nipissing cast their ballots early.

Across the province, nearly 769,000 people voted in the advanced polls.
