Woman suffers 'serious' injuries in dog attack

North Bay Police report a woman in her 30’s suffered serious injures after a dog attack Sunday evening.

Police were called to a residence in the Hillcrest Avenue area and say the woman was taken to hospital with serious puncture wounds to her hands and torso.

Police say the dog’s owner was not there during the attack, but returned home and secured the dog.

The Humane Society is investigating.
