A 21 old city man has been charged after an attempted robbery of a Cassells Street Tim Hortons early Sunday.

North Bay Police say a man entered the restaurant and demanded money from an employee.

He left without any money after a brief altercation.

No weapons were seen and there were no injuries.

Police located the suspect at a nearby building, where they say he was stealing mail from a mailbox.

The man is charged with:
• One count of Attempted Robbery
• One count of wear disguise with intent
• One count of Breaching his Probation Order
• One count of Theft of Mail
• One count of Obstruct Police

 

Meantime, North Bay Police are investigating a break-in to a Carmichael Drive business.

$2,000 in property was stolen.

The investigation started Saturday.
