Bunkered claims the Masters Golf Tournament has banned fans from yelling the Budweiser catch phrase ”Dilly Dilly.” Security guards have been told to remove anyone, who shouts out popular catchphrases while the players are golfing. A fan was removed from last year’s tournament after he kept yelling ”get in the bunker”.

If you’re unfamiliar with the whole “dilly dilly” ad campaign, maybe you haven’t been watching enough TV.

Once Bud Light got wind of the story they tweeted this: “Your kind hath received word that the guards of the Green Jacket plan to escort any patron who dare utter Dilly Dilly off yon premises. Except for myself, I am against tyranny in all forms,” the tweet continued. “So, I have instructed my royal tailors to make 1,000 Dilly Dilly shirts that shall be delivered to Georgia in time for the festivities.” Here’s the actual tweet.

I’m sure the folks at Anheuser Busch Inbev are thrilled with all the publicity they’re getting over this story. The Masters is expected to pull in some of its biggest viewing numbers in years now that Tiger Woods is back to his old form. The Masters Golf Tournament kicks off tomorrow at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia.
