Another come-from-behind win for the North Bay Battalion, as the Troops defeated Saginaw 4-3 in overtime Sunday afternoon.

It was a playoff-like atmosphere with the game going back and forth.

Brad Chenier, Adam Thilander, and Adam McMaster (pictured) each scored in regulation with McMaster’s second of the game ending the match 24 seconds into overtime.

Head Coach Stan Butler says his team simply outworked the Spirit to earn the victory.

“I think it was a really entertaining game for the fans. The one thing about Saginaw’s team, they work really hard,” he says. “It was very, very close and we’re starting to win some of the games that earlier in the year the other teams were winning.”

Julien Sime made 25 saves for the win.

The Battalion have now won seven of their last eight games.

They’re back in action Friday night in Ottawa.
