Justin Brazeau’s late third period goal helped the North Bay Battalion defeat the Kitchener Rangers 5-4 Thursday night.

Brazeau had two goals in the game while goaltender, Julian Sime made 34 saves for the win.

The Rangers outshot North Bay 38-23.

Brazeau now has 17 goals on the season.

Three of the Troops five goals came on the powerplay.

Also scoring were Adam McMaster, Cam Dineen and Nick King.

North Bay’s next game is at home on Sunday afternoon when the Central Division-leading Barrie Colts visit Memorial Gardens.

Fans are asked to bring along non perishable food items as Sunday is food bank day.
