The water and wastewater operating budget and rates will be discussed at the committee meeting of Council tonight.

The meeting starts at 6:30 pm at City Hall.

The other item is a rezoning request for a former Church on McKeown Avenue at O’Brien.

The proposal calls for apartments to be created.

Meantime, several reports are coming forward at the regular Council meeting including amendments to the smoking bylaw and a pregnancy/parental leave policy for council members.

Two others involve new roofs for City Hall and Fire Station 3.

The regular Council meeting gets underway at 7:30 pm.
