A 66 year old North Bay man is facing careless driving and possession for the purpose of trafficking counts.

OPP say early Thursday morning, a vehicle hit a rock cut on Highway 11 at Highway 522.

The motorist was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation led to the discovery of a quantity of what is believed to be methadone.
