Imagine having to take a selfie to make a purchase. It’s one of the things that may happen _ as credit card companies look to make transactions more secure. Visa is launching a platform that would let banks use biometrics to help process credit card applications and payments. That could include having you use your fingerprint, face or voice to confirm your identity. For example, if an online purchase is made, a bank may ask that you provide a selfie that can be compared to a driver’s license photo or other data on file.
